My partner and I are planning to spend part of the year for our retirement in Cape Verde on the island of Sal in Santa Maria. I would like to know the terms in terms of visa, health and banking. We have already been there several times and we love this island. We currently live in Brittany where we run a small bar/restaurant. Should we open an account now to invest money for the purchase of a home? Our retirement is not for now (at least another 4 years) but we are thinking of finding a small accommodation by the end of the year so that we can already spend our holidays there in February and November each year.
