Both from the HR environment, we have lived in the South for 8 years Too big a house (after the children have left) and therefore, large expenses, push us to want to take advantage of the climate, the landscapes, the art of living, the kindness and, (also, a little...) the tax advantages linked to settling in Portugal (a retirement pension is lower than a salary to which we had, it is true, become a little accustomed) Our project: after moving this winter, to 'choose' our future environment, we are waiting for the sale of our property to be finalized to buy a villa in the Faro/Loul茅/Sao Bras de Alportel triangle. Updated as of 11/28/2018 that's it: cars and house sold; moving on February 1st, after final choice and purchase of our villa between January 4th and 12th. For us the sun even warmer than here, the villa on a human scale, the cure of oranges and more natural vegetables... and I won't mention everything...
