As a 'stay-at-home' mom I raised my one and only daughter till she left home to study science in Cape Town University. I was born and raised in Durban where I joined the South African Police force in the early eighties. In 1989 I relocated to the Western Cape area and got married to my hubby, an automotive engineer. In 1992 our daughter was born and three years later I decided to raise my daughter myself and resigned. Now 28 years later our daughter finished her Masters degree and is relocating to Korea and my hubby and I are considering retiring in Mauritius.
