Even if, the single which helped to reveal its potential and mark its presence in Beninese showbiz, is first of all, made of sensitivities and awareness of being. Indeed, "From Here and Elsewhere" is intended to be a song of belonging and acceptance of one's origins, or one's roots, as an act of enrichment of humanity in all its universal plurality. Torrid, disconcerting, shameless, cheeky, striking; his phrasing illustrates with as much sarcasm as indifference, with as much cheekiness as playfulness, intertwined all the same with realities of life which either captivate or motivate. And since, Cdrik Koodjo is one of those who knows how to find a place, while there is one, to take, in 2017, he opened himself up to current trends. Thus, he is ready to do it more in the years to come, in order to surprise, to expand, to open up the fields of his visibility, to offer himself to a renewed audience, but also to stir up bouncy and afrobeat atmospheres.
