I recently moved to Greece (where I grew up) to teach economics at a university. I have spent most of my life in the U.S. (New York, Texas, Arizona). I would like to make new friends and meet Americans in Athens.

Where do all the expats hang out? by passion44

Hi my name is Kerry from Northern Ireland. I wondered where everyone hangs out and if there is any groups. Are there many irish and australians around athens?

Try James Joyce, a nice Irish pub in Monastiraki/Thisio. There are also a couple of other Irish places in Athens. An organization that puts together events for expats is Internations (about one event a month). Read More
