About
An agronomist engineer since September 2017, I am looking for a job in new agricultural production focused on respect for nature, our health and our environment. I am seeking to develop my knowledge on these issues to be able to communicate on these techniques and make as many people as possible aware of the importance of producing without pesticides and consuming locally.
I am currently looking for a position as an agricultural engineer in Argentina.
Here is a quick overview of my professional experiences:
- an internship in Australia on the issues of aerial dispersion of pathogens for the Health and Biosafety department of the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific & Research Organisation): April-September 2016
-a university exchange at the Facultad de Agronom铆a of the Universidad de Buenos Aires focused on ecology and agroecology
Human rights courses, aquatic ecology, rural tourism, research and extension in agroecology, climatology and grassland management. This exchange allowed me to deepen my knowledge of agroecology and to meet some farmers in transition to agroecology and others developing a healthy organic farming system.
October-December 2016
-an end-of-studies internship at INRA in Montpellier on the issues of the development of agroecology in France and biocontrol as a crop protection technique.
I met around fifteen wine growers involved in sustainable agriculture initiatives. The idea was to understand sociologically and technically the obstacles to the transition to more sustainable viticulture and the solutions that each farmer puts in place to produce more ecological and healthier food.
April-September 2017
- six months of volunteering in civic service in Colombia in the areas of reforestation and agroforestry. I support a community of farmers in reforestation in one of the driest regions of Colombia: Guajira. The idea is to reforest part of the dry forest, develop an agroforestry plan in the plots of each project beneficiary, support them and help them develop economic alternatives. A community garden was created to allow farmers to plant the fruits and vegetables they need for their own consumption and to sell medicinal plants.
I also support two groups of economic alternatives which produce coconut-based oil and cosmetics as well as mango-based jams.
Our work consists of helping them to organize themselves, finding them contacts to sell their products, training them in marketing.
October 2018-April 2019
Interests: Dynamic and proactive, biodynamic agriculture
