I am already very old but my expatriation went very well and I am very happy in Portugal which gives me a rest from France, always agitated and protesting. Here it is 50 years late, but it is easy to live there without worrying. Obviously, the administrative procedures are not easy, but I did very well and it got my old brain working. I even just bought a car which I searched throughout the northern half of Portugal to find the desired model and I managed to obtain a car loan, unexpected because my bank and the brokers said that from the age of 70 this is impossible; but impossible is not French... and now Portuguese.
