We are two retirees from the Air Force and we sold our house to go next spring to Sicily, on the south coast, between Agrigento and Syracuse depending on the accommodation we find, for a few years as long as health permits. Initially we wanted to settle in Puglia for a few years but the golf courses in this region are rare and very expensive and as the weather is a little milder in Sicily we opted for this magnificent island. We spent a few months in winter in Sicily and loved this region. We are considering renting a furnished house initially to "make our mark" because vacations are one thing and everyday life another... My husband and I speak a little Italian and we intend to deepen our knowledge of this language by participating in activities...that's it for this presentation.
