About

I have been sober for 25 years after being given three days to live with liver failure. I got treatment in a US treatment centre in London that demanded I attended AA meetings a condition of staying for treatment. I have spent the rest of my life building treatment centres (12 step facilitation model) including the one with Eric Clapton in Antigua called Crossroads. These centres lead directly yo a life in AA as it has done for me. I had lost my children as a result of my drinking but now have them back in my life together with two lovely grandchildren. I am currently in talks with the UAE Government in building a unit in Dubai for Moslims who have become alcoholics and lost their way. I will help in any way to carry this message. I have also been an advisor to the BRITISH GOVERNMENT on abstinence treatment for 20 years. I hope to help the Libyan Transistional Council of the importance of building treatment into any new civic society they may have planned. I keep the two things (my alcoholism and membership of AA completely seperate for the outside world according to the Traditions. I want to help and could travel to Tripoli at short notice.
