Lyon, France

My best friend recently moved here with her Fiancee (he's french) and my god daughter, i consider them my family and miss them very much when i am in England, so being in Lyon has been and still is some of my best times :)

Lyon is a beautiful city and although very different it reminds me very much of Leeds, my home town. Everyone i have met either on days out or nights out have been very lovely, most speak english very well and even when they have spoken broken english it is still always enough to participate in conversation.
my only dislike is that i do not speak French, i am very excited to learn a new language and get my fluent french on!

Cambridge, England

Currently studying animation at the cambridge school of art, anglia ruskin, i am originally from Leeds but at the moment living in Cambridge city centre.

Cambridge has beautiful buildings and architecture, for a day out its very lovely but once my studying has finished i won't be moving in permanently, its not rly my kind of town . . .
Cambridge as a city isn't quite busy enough for me, Leeds is an amazing city and an even better night out, Cambridge doesn't quite match up. Lyon remind me very much of Leeds, obviously its very different in many ways, there are some things that we have in Leeds that they haven't gotten quite right in Lyon but that also works the same the other way round.
