Recently retired (65 years old), I am considering selling, or even renting, the penthouse in which I live at the moment, and moving abroad. Indeed, my retirement salary poses a problem for me if I want to continue to live properly in Switzerland. I considered several places, including South India, where I have been several times, but it is Thailand that ultimately takes the prize. And this in particular for the food, the climate, and above all the good standard of the hospital centers. Although in great shape currently, this last point could prove very important at my age! By registering, I hope to acquire as much information as possible, especially regarding papers (long-term visa), and how to take out health and accident insurance while living in Thailand.
