We moved to Portugal just over 2 years ago have had many mishaps in trying to have a house built here, sadly met some not nice portuguese who have managed to do well financially out of our naviety but also met some nice portuguese friends. I am toying with writing a book on how not to move abroad and build a house that is a joke but there is an element of truth in it. Would not want anyone to have to share some of our problems. Have also at on stage managed to end up with ten dogs as found two rescue dogs who had puppies now have six so thats an expensive hobby. Now nearing completion of the building of the house and met quite a few european friends solife becoming a little easier.
