Hello, I am a 34 yr old woman from Thomaston, CT. My husband and I recently bought property in Arecibo, PR and we are building a house there as we speak. We have a 5 yr old son named Jose. My husband was born in Bayamon, PR, but moved to NYC as a young child. I am Caucasian and I'm currently taking classes to learn Spanish, so I can communicate without the help of my husband when we are in PR.Our original plan was to use the house in PR as a vacation home and rent it out when we were not using it.With all the turmoil and economic problems in the U.S. right now, moving to PR permanently is looking more and more desirable.I hope to learn from the people on this site who have made the move to PR& use their knowledge to hopefully make the right decision.Thank You!
