I come from France. I knew Senegal at 15 thanks to a military father. I came back there with my husband and my son, by chance hearing about Popenguine on TV, a place where we came on weekends during my parents' time. We made friends with a young Senegalese man who rowed for a living. We have always stayed in touch and, in 2009, we returned to Senegal, a little blindly, trusting our Senegalese Allioune who told us he had a house to accommodate us.
