Hello,
I'm Belgian but now I'm almost a 老内!
I have lived in Beijing for more than 4 years.
Improve my Chinese, it's done! I studied 6 months at 北京师范大学. I still take private lessons once a week.
Doing business is done! I sell my homemade jams! I am very successful, they even say that I am famous.
Making jams and selling them is great, I meet people, I practice my Chinese,... but I'm afraid of losing my scientific background.
I am a chemical engineer by training. Before arriving in China, I worked for 2 years as a Junior Flavor Technologist in the R&D department of a food company.
Before that, I did my internship in a research center. The subject of my final study work was the development of a nanoporous polyimide membrane resistant to high temperatures.
I would like to find a new challenge in the field of chemistry or the agri-food industry.
