I would like to retire in the United States and I come to this blog to interact with expatriates and benefit from their experience.

I started my schooling and passed my Baccalaureate in Lyon. My life to this day has been spent in the Rhone.
I have worked in the world of machine tools since 1973 and I am currently a workshop technician in a large international company.
I like my work, I am very handy at home and in other people's homes. I swim, jog, walk and like aquariums and underwater landscapes.
I don't like the French system which requires 35 hours, which requires retirement at 60, etc.
