Permesso di Soggiorno - Address Change Before Appointment

Hello everyone,

After coming back from summer holiday from my country, I was staying at my friend's house for my first day in the city since I hadn't had my new appartment yet. So when I applied for renewal of my "permesso di soggiorno" I wrote his address. Very soon after I rented a new apartment and made a contract.

Now my appointment is at my friend's neighbourhood's police station but I live at a different address!

Would it be a problem during the appointment -since I will represent the accomodation documents for my new address not the address written in the envelope-?

You will just need to inform them that you changed address. That's all.

Hey. Since your case is pretty recent, may I ask if this worked for you? Having a different address while submitting the application and a different address at the fingerprint appointment?
