Hello community,
Since 2024 I have been prospecting in Spain in the Empuriabrava / Rosas region because I would like to acquire an apartment or villa property to live there for part of the year. In my "boxes" I brought back a superb sailing trimaran and if I find a place for this small sports sailboat I think that the bay of Rosas is ideal for coastal walks...... on this subject I am also looking for a friendly, dynamic and motivated crew member to sail cool for the day or the weekend.
The bay of Rosas / Empuriabrava has a pleasant navigation basin and is protected from violent winds, so I think that sailing trips must be pleasant....

After more than 30 years spent sailing the world's seas, I have just left the Seychelles and Mauritius.
In fact, at the start of the year I decided to change direction because these destinations no longer quite meet my expectations: I also want to get closer to my family and friends who are mainly in Europe.
Originally from Brittany, I have happily sailed on all the oceans and discovered wonderful countries and, above all, wonderful people.
For 10 years I have made several trips to Portugal and apparently this destination seems a good choice for a "peaceful" retirement: Maritime culture, temperate climate, welcome from the Portuguese...
I am currently in the Algarve to invest, so I would like to communicate with expats already living there to share reliable and real information......
In my luggage I brought my favorite toy: A superb sailing trimaran so if like me you are passionate about sailing, do not hesitate to contact me even if you are a beginner.
Cool but active retreat...on the water...under the sun...
